Welcome to Reflective Pathways

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but it can also a powerful act of care toward yourself. My role is to walk alongside you as you reflect, heal, and grow.

Here, you’ll find a safe, supportive space to talk openly about what matters most to you - and to discover a path forward. Throughout this journey, I invite you to find yourself through reflection.

Workshops & Groups — Built Around What Matters to You
I’m offering free groups based on community interest. Here’s how it works:

  • Choose a group you’d like to join.

  • Sign up with your email.

  • Once 6 or more people sign up for the same group, I’ll run it — free of charge.

This is your chance to explore counselling in a group setting, connect with others, and try out tools in a supportive space.

Maps & Mirrors is your lighthouse in the fog — a self-guided tool to help you pause, reflect, and find your way when life feels overwhelming. Instead of quick fixes, this book offers practical, evidence-based strategies drawn from CBT, DBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness.

Whether you’re dealing with stress, burnout, or just need a reset, Maps & Mirrors helps you reframe problems, discover small wins, and take meaningful steps forward — on your own terms.

About Me

I’m Sean Hunter, a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) with advanced training in CBT, DBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy. I’ve worked in hospitals, community health centres, and private practice, supporting people through stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, and mental health concerns.

What I value most in my work is connection. Counselling is about creating a space where you can be heard, reflect on your story, and begin moving forward in a way that feels right for you.

My approach is practical, compassionate, and down-to-earth. Whether you decide to work together one-on-one, in a group, or explore my digital tools, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you on your path toward clarity, resilience, and well-being.

Rooted in Tillsonburg and St. Thomas, I understand the unique strengths and challenges of living in a smaller community. My commitment is to offer care that is not only professional and evidence-based but also accessible and human.
